We heard from seven God anointed Pastors on Good Friday, March 29th, 2024. Each had the task of sharing with us a sermonette on the 7 Last Sayings of Jesus Christ from the Cross and OH! What a word! What a word they had for us! God was truly in the house! We want to thank Pastor Christopher Mundy and the Loving Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Fitzhugh Lyons and the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Keith Hackett and the Greater Northwest Baptist Church, Pastor Erik Thein and the Common Ground Northeast Church, Pastor Dr. Phillip K. James and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Pastor Kenneth Manuel and the 25th Street Baptist Church, and Pastor John Woodall and South Calvary Baptist Church for a job well done. During the program a donation was taken and 100% of the proceeds were presented to Martha Cortes, the chief partnership officer of Kipp Indy serving students in our Martindale Brightwood Community. Thank you goes to all our Oasis members who helped with the program and our Ushers who got wonderful feedback from the visiting congregations. Way to go Ushers! Lastly. A special thank you to our Pastor and Host Dr. Myron C. Duff Jr. for another successful Good Friday program we are already looking forward to next year.
